I live outside of the U.S., can I work with you?

Yes! Since the work can be done from your home it doesn’t matter where in the world you live. If you don’t want to be paid in U.S. dollars you can choose the option of getting paid through Paxum, which is a service similar to PayPal (PayPal itself doesn’t allow adult services).

Paxum will automatically convert your pay into your local currency, and from there you can have it deposited into your bank account, get a check mailed to you, or get a debit card to access your money instantly at any ATM.

I’m confused, how does virtual sex with Red Light Center work?

Think of it as phone sex or instant message style cybersex with a little something extra!

During a regular phone or IM sex session the customer doesn’t have anything to watch or interact with, but with Red Light Center both you and the customer are controlling animated 3D characters inside the virtual world.

How do I become a RLC Working Girl/Guy?

To be a Working Girl or Guy you must be over 18 years of age and be friendly, open minded, and comfortable with online sex. No experience is required, but previous work as a phone sex operator is helpful. You can get started now by going to our Getting Started Guide.

How do I get customers?

There are clubs, brothels, streetcorners and lots of other places in the 3D virtual world where you will meet up with paying customers. You can also have a listing up on the Working Girl or Guy directory and have customers contact you and set up appointments outside of the world.

How much money can I make as a Working Girl/Guy?

Experienced Working Girls offering voice chat can make from $20 to $40 per one-hour session, and those offering webcam shows make even more! There are performers who have made hundreds in a single day, and what you make will depend on you. The odds are whatever you make on Red Light Center is more than you would make working as a phone sex operator. Guys, unfortunately, will make a little less, but since 60% of Red Light Center’s members are female there’s never a shortage of customers for Working Guys!

I’ve never done this before, how much will I realistically make starting out?

Brand new Working Girls with no previous experience usually start out making an average of around $10 per one-hour session without webcam shows, and around $20 with webcam. Over the next few weeks you will get more comfortable with Red Light Center’s controls, get better at chatting with your clients, and start building up a fan base and getting repeat customers. Once that happens your earnings will start to go up.

How often will I get paid, and how will I get paid?

You aren’t paid on a set schedule. Your customers will pay you in Rays, which are the in-game currency of Red Light Center. You can sell your Rays for real U.S. dollars, and then you can request a payment for your dollar balance up to once per day. You can choose to be paid with either a check that’s mailed to you, or you can have the money sent to a Paxum.com account (which is similar to PayPal, but for adult oriented services).

What schedule do I work?

The best part of being a Working Girl/Guy is the flexibility! You are not required to work a minimum amount of hours or at any specific time. You set your own schedule, and can come and go as you please. Obviously, the more hours you work, the more you will make.

I have never done anything like this before, will you help me get started?

Absolutely. If you have any questions you can contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After you download the software and create your account you will be assigned a guide who can help you get started in Red Light Center. Is my identity and personal information kept private?

Your personal information will never be used for anything other than your initial account setup to access the game. There is no way for a customer to get your private information.

Who sets the rates my customers pay, and how much does Red Light Center take of my profits?

You set your own rates, and Red Light Center doesn’t take a percentage of your per-hour or per-minute rates like phone sex and webcam companies do!

Will I have to pay anything to start? If not, how does Red Light Center make money?

Working Girls/Guys are not charged any extra fees to work, but do have to pay the $20 per month membership fee that all members of RLC pay in order to have sex in-world. Red Light Center makes it’s money from these subscription fees and you get to keep all the money you earn from working!
